The artist's receptions are typically hosted by title holders such as McKenzie Riley, Miss Rancho San Diego Teen; Ivanka Jina, Miss El Cajon; and Summer Babineau, Miss Alpine.

Artist's receptions are well attended affairs attracting 200 to 250 guests. Here Miss Rancho San Diego Teen, Jessica Rodriguez hosts Tracy Padgett, wife of photographer Paul Padgett.
